TV: ASIA’s NEXT TOP MODEL ( WEEK 12 )

After the come back episode last week, ASIA’s NEXT TOP MODEL is here with its lastest episode before the GRAND FINALE next week.  To recap the week before, my favorite girl AASTHA (NEPAL) got the cut after her sleepy eyes and low energy translate to a motion theme photo shoot.  And JESSICA (THAILAND) boosts a record of four consecutive best photo while STEPHANIE (PHILIPPINES) claim her fourth bottom two.  Who will be eliminated tonight?

WEEK 12 - Well to start the show, SOFIA (JAPAN) talks about how JESSICA (THAILAND) is ruling the competition and her vindication to do her best this week.  Then STEPHANIE (PHILIPPINES) talks about her fourth bottom two and how she’s breaking records like JESSICA only it’s the other way around.  SURPRISE SURPRISE the girls were asked to packed cause it’s time to move out and travel to a new destination, HONG KONG (ASIA’s FASHION CAPITAL).

Early on in HONG KONG the girls head on to their CHALLENGE first meeting CARA GROGAN a model/host/actress giving the girls tips for their GO-SEE.  It’s my second favorite part of the show next to MAKE-OVER so I’m excited on this one.  I guess beforehand that this would be SOFIA’s turf being the one who really look like a model from the four, but I guess I was wrong.  The first designer called her out as too tall for runway as STEPHANIE bagged the first job.  The second casting was for PLAYBOY fragrances asking for a campaign model, JESSICA and KATE (TAIWAN) bagged this job.  The third is another runway but with personality requirements, STEPHANIE and JESSICA got the call back.  And lastly a brand of handbags call for models with attitude to reflect with the bag, JESSICA and KATE got the job.  All in all JESSICA won the CHALLENGE and STEPHANIE makes a mark booking the only two runway castings.  SOFIA was left with encouragement from NADYA that its OK cause rejections are part of modeling.  Yah!  I knew from then she will be eliminated, LOL.

I love this PHOTO SHOOT, old classic them and long dresses count me in.  The theme is 1920’s inspire CHINESE screen GODDESSES  the girls were dressed in beautiful SHANGHAI TANG long dresses and ask to impersonate class and elegance.

Personally I love this shoot of KATE, it’s classy and I love how the dress and her comes together to create art in photo.  AGREE on the FIRST CALL/PHOTO OF THE WEEK on this one.

This picture of JESSICA is OVER-EDITED; if it’s an HD picture you can’t even see her face, but the dress does look good.  OK I also agree on the SECOND CALL.

Well if the above picture is OVER-EDITED, STEPHANIE’s picture is UNDER-EDITED or probably not edited at all, as you can see the other three pictures are in SEPIA, her picture are in NATURAL COLOR.  Booking two GO-SEES does matter, WIKI claim that STEPHANIE hold the record of most bottom two in TOP MODEL history, it’s her fifth this week.  Still I’m rooting and proud of my HOMEGIRL.

SOFIA’s cold treatment at GO-SEE kills her chances of making it to the FINAL three, I love the picture but models must not stay in the canvass they also have to represent in person.  Still it’s a job well done making it to top four SOFIA.
