FASHION: CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR 2013

I remember FASHION and its influences in Movies and TV.  Series, it’s all about the latest design and what SARAH JESSICA PARKER is wearing and by that I’m admittedly and a full blown SEX and the CITY addict.  But seriously I don’t think SEX and the CITY or SJP’s fashion can adapt just to anyone, plus Manila is way too different to NYC and that opening dress would create a scene if you wear it here, LOL.

Well too much on media’s influence in fashion,
For me fashion is a mix of showbiz influences, COMFORT and what I like to wearCOMFORT - of course I can’t wear those leather booths on a sunny hot country or else you’ll develop fungi, or those pumps while crossing the busy streets of TAFT AVENUE.  On what I like to wear, it sometimes depends on my mood and situational, if its too hot loose clothes, if I feel I’m getting fat black clothes, I rarely wear jeans for the reasons of comfort I like to spread my legs more (please don’t refer this statement sexually, LOL).  So all in all I develop my style on mostly what I feel, moods and sometimes the latest fashion demands…

So here’s my CHRISTMAS and NEW YEARFASHION

I love this gold colored dress, my friends called it a fashion sleepwear cause it looked like a nighties but generally they love it, the HIGLIGHTS of this dress is the bead work on top and the dark flower theme style at the bottom of the dress, of course since I’m into gold theme I matched it with my two inch open toe shoes by CHARLES & KEITH…

PLEASE HELP TYPHOON PABLO VICTIM

On the first week of December which should have been the start of Christmas preparations, southern PHILIPPINES was devastated by the strong typhoon that took 548 lives and 827 still missing.

Lives already lost and we can’t do anything about it but we can do something to the living who at the moment in dire need of your help, their asking for food and medicine (most importantly), clean water and clothes.
A donation big or small can help alleviate their needs, at least make this coming CHRISTMAS happen for them.

You can make your donations here:

MY CHRISTMAS

Well since November already bid farewell and December just step in, I think I should blog about Christmas, arguably the best holiday as the song sings it “it’s the most wonderful time of the year”.  Well since it’s my first blog about Christmas I should open up about my Christmas experience and of course our local tradition.

I remember most of my childhood Christmas with mostly tradition, “Misa De Gallo” or night church (most likely morning church that commence at 4am), when you finish the 9 consecutive night mass you can make a wish as part of the tradition, well nothing of my wishes happen but I still do the custom, it feels good to be part of something.  There’s also the “Noche Buena” where family share feast on Christmas Eve, it’s more like “Thanksgiving” but happen a day before Christmas.  Opening of gifts when the clock ticks 12 midnight and see everyone’s excitement and smile seeing their gifts.  And in the morning children visiting their God Mother and God Father, for their share of love (money or gifts).  And a recent tradition are Holiday Movies where the showing starts Christmas Day and only local movies are playing, it’s the time of the year where movies rake in more money, holiday money to be specific.
It all seems to be traditional and circumstantially pattern, but that’s my Christmas and that what makes me love this holiday.

Well 22 days more and its CHRISTMAS, share love more than of anything…
